The abundance of the flat coast of New England is ideal for the Maryland blue crab juicy, renamed Pacific Coast Dungeness or Alaskan King! This creamy soup can prevent winter storm.

2 slices bacon, sliced 1/2-inch pieces
1 tablespoon butter
1 large onion, finely chopped
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
3 cups chicken broth
1 large potato, peeled, cut into 1/4-inch cubes
3 / 4 cup and a half
1 (11 oz can) corn, drained
1 / 2 red bell pepper, cored, sliced 1/4-inch cubes
1 / 2 pound cooked crab meat
Salt 1 / 4 teaspoon tea
1 / 8 c. Tea black pepper
2 spring onions, chopped

Cook bacon in large pot over medium heat until golden brown, about 3 minutes and discard excess fat. Butter and onions until they are soft and brown about 4 minutes. Add flour mixture and cook another 3 minutes, stirring constantly there. Add chicken broth and stir well, then add potatoes.
Reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender, about 12 minutes. Announcementd half and half, corn, peppers and shrimp. Simmer for 5 minutes or until peppers are soft. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with green onions.
Makes 4 servings.
