Is phantom power necessary for a behringer B-1 Microphone? - behringer power supply

In the search for a behringer B1 buy, but I need to use a source of phantom power?

You will need phantom power for condenser microphones, and as the B-1 is a condenser microphone, yes, you need phantom power for themselves.
However, you get some microphones can be powered by a 9V battery, or (I believe that the types of microphones are a bit expensive) or through the USB port on your computer (like the Behringer C-1). Unfortunately, I have never personally used USB microphones, so I'm not sure how good or different compared to conventional condenser microphones.

Yes, it'll definitely require Phantom Power like any other condenser mic. As someone above said, some come with a 9V battery provision, but they're usually more expensive.
Your best bet would be to probably buy a cheap Behringer mixer with the mic, that'll supply the Phantom Power. Alternatively, you get devices that are only meant to supply phantom power:
